Every year, thousands of loyal, loving companion dogs are abused, neglected, dumped at shelters, or abandoned stray through no fault of their own. Many of these dogs have suffered unthinkable abuse or medical problems from the neglect of their owners, and then they are abandoned because they are "too much trouble", or for no justifiable reason. They need our help. These dogs ask nothing from us except basic care, food and a pat on the head, and in return they offer us unconditional, unfailing, endless love and loyalty. They do not deserve to be abused, then cast aside. Amazingly, even after horrible treatment, these dogs are willing to forgive and become faithful companions. At German Shepherd Rescue Resources and Refuge, our mission is to help the most critically needy German Shepherd dogs. We do not operate a rescue facility, but instead provide financial and support services to the many German Shepherd Rescues for their most critical dogs. Although these rescues are constantly stressed for funds, they still find it in their hearts to take in even the most needy dogs. Many of these dogs need medical care and even surgery to repair the damage of abuse and neglect. Some of these dogs are "seniors" that are passed by at shelters, simply because they are not puppies any more. The valiant and tireless efforts of these rescue facilities find new loving homes for hundreds of dogs each year. Our goal at GsRRR is to help these rescues pay for the veterinary bills, medicine and special care needs of these wonderful companions so they can find homes with the love they deserve. All of the funds we receive from you goes to the care of these special animals. Yes, all. We pay no salaries, and our administrative costs are supported by our volunteers. We are a non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please, help us help these dogs! Your donation of $5, $10, $25 or more will help stop their suffering.
