We are an adoption guaranteed facility and an S.P.C.A. We investigate animal welfare concerns. We do prosecute owners of animal cruelty/neglect and abandonment cases if education does not prove to solve the matter of if the situation does not warrant education but immediate arrest. We were founded in January 2002 and have rescued and found loving homes for over 1500 companion pets.
We do also save pets that are on death row at our local county pound. We, like other facilities and rescue organizations can't save them all but we do give it our best to save as many as possible. We believe every companion pet has a loving home somewhere no matter what their physical capabilities are. Until that home finds them, they live with us and in foster homes until that wonderful day comes that they can go home. Even though we are a Humane Society, we consider ourselves a rescue organization for that is what we do..rescue!
