Nationwide pet food recall list. Updated 4/12/07

A nationwide pet food recall is still in progress.  The FDA has found that wheat gluten could be the cause of all the pets deaths and kidney damage/renal failure. An order from the FDA was issued for inspectors to stop Xuzhou Anying Biologic Technology Development Company Ltd. in China from exporting wheat gluten to US pet food manufacturers.  Wheat gluten from this manufacturer can be found in almost 100 dog and cat products. Menu Foods is expected to widen the variety of product, manufacturing dates in the recall on Thursday, April 12.
