I have a general question about Bansfield. I live in Houston. <br /><br />We initially took our 3 dogs to Bansfield 3 years ago under an initial 1 year contract. <br /><br />I was unhappy with our vet as we had an issue with a dog and him. I'm not going to go into the issue, let's just say that I decided to take my two dogs to another vet. <br /><br />I informed the staff last year that we were not keeping two of our dogs on their wellness plans. <br /><br />Lo and behold, I get a call out of the blue from a collection agency about these two dogs 8 months after the fact. I can assure you the call was not pleasant. <br /><br />Per collection agency person, he stated we had to put in writing our pets were not going to be in contract and I should have read my contract. O.K.<br />To be honest, he was a complete a$$. <br /><br />I then turned around and called Bansfield 1-800 number and that person told me that is not true. That after the initial year, you can cancel at the local Bansfield Pet Hospital. <br /><br />I'm just curious if anyone else has had a similiar problem with Bansfield. I've researched this issue on the internet and I find others with simliar issues and I find this a little distressing to say the least. <br /><br />Tomorrow, I'll be going to our local Bansfield Hospital to try to get this straightened out.
