Helping me find a home for a feral cat 2 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
I said giving this cat up that wasn't supposed to be mine was not an option and it still may not be. The only reason I am wanting to find her a better home is so she can have a better life. I have 5 other inside cats that act like they have never had a meal. I have to keep the ferral (Sammie) locked up in our office day end and day out. It is not fair to her. She has been stuck under the couch now for 6 weeks. I know at night she eats and uses the litter box but like I said I am unable to leave the door open because of my other fur babies. We are also in the process of selling our home and when the agent comes over to show they never close the office door even with a BIG sign that reads close the door behind you. If anybody is in the Houston area and may be interested in giving Sammie a loving home where she would be able to roam free safely please email me back at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it she has all of her shots and has been spayed I would gladly help with an type of donation neccessary. In the end I may not give her away I just feel sad for her. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately the kitty orgs usually dont take ferals.<br /><br />It is very hard to find homes for the loving kitties let alone crazy wild ones.<br /><br />Call around there may be some orgs that will.<br /><br />I work with adopt-a-cat in Houston.<br /> http://adoptacat.pets911.com/org_locations.php?PHPSESSID=ec0e79fb6b8b7cfab202b0051510a953<br /><br />

Your right I have contacted several adoption centers in the Houston area and nobody will take her. SPCA and CAP both said she would probably have to be put to sleep so of course I wouldn't do that. Anyway, thanks for the sites you gave me I will give it a try.......
